ABSTRACT
|
|
This essay stresses the intense relationship
between the concept of perversion expressed by
Pierre Klossowski and the notion of hospitality
which the French thinker unfolds in an
extraordinary narrative trilogy. This is shown in the
impulsive nature of Klossowski’s approach where he
investigates Sade’s work and Nietzsche’s
posthumous writings. Sade’s apathetic relationship
with his victim and Nietzsche’s aimless philosophy
typical of the vicious circle are the main sources of
the perverse monogamy rendered by the
philosopher-writer in his “Laws of Hospitality”.
